God is in the details…

The German art historian Aby Warburg, at one of his lectures at Hamburg University, once said: “Der liebe Gott steckt im Detail…”

“The Good Lord is in the details…”

Hermeneutics and exegesis are two things that I am immensely passionate about. It is an art and a science – the art and science of reading and understanding the Bible in context, and seeing God in the even the smallest of details – those same details we often gloss over.

On this page you will find resources delving deeper into the Word of God. Suitable for reflection, meditation and a deeper understanding of God’s Word. You are welcome to use these resources and share them with your student group, small groups, etc.

May God bless you!
